Pop-Guac
Pop-Guac
I absolutely love popcorn. I have tried so many different iterations of recipes for WFPB popcorn making sure no oil and trying to minimize salt etc. I just really wasn't happy with anything I could find. So one night I was fixing a grilled avocado toaster and I thought why not try guacamole on the popcorn for both flavor and instead of butter/oil etc.

Ingredients
Ingredients
1 Cup of un-popped popcorn
1 container of nutritional yeast
1 container of salt
2-5tbs of guacamole
Making the Pop-Guac
HOW TO MAKE:
STEP 1:
Place the un-popped popcorn into the air-popper and turn on.
STEP 2:
As the popcorn is popping warm the guacamole in a small bowl or pan for a short time.
STEP 3:
When corn is done popping...add the guac in little pods around as pictured and then use a spoon to gently stir and run it around until it's mixed in well.
STEP 4:
Once it's mixed across the popcorn well...use the nutritional yeast and salt to taste.
STEP 5:
Many times depending on the guac you may want to add some onion powder to taste in order to temper the flavor more.
